Water Rights Modeling Projects
|
Riverside Technology, inc. (RTi) has successfully developed and
implemented water rights models for several river basins in the
western United States. Our clients include domestic water providers,
regional power authorities, and state administrative agencies. RTi
engineers understand the complexity surrounding water rights, water
administration, and water accounting. We recognize the diverse
requirements of our clients and can match the appropriate technology
to meet their needs. In addition to our in-house products, RTi has
expertise with several different water rights-oriented software packages,
including:
- StateMOD, State of Colorado water rights planning model
- WRAP / WAM, State of Texas administrative water availability model
- MODSIM, river basin network planning/water rights model
- RiverWare®, river basin planning model
- HydroBase, water rights / water resources database
- TSTool;, time-series data analysis
- Real-time flow measuring and reporting hardware and software
- GIS applications
- Customized software
RTi specializes in integrating multiple software packages into a single
cohesive tool, or Decision Support System (DSS). A typical example would
be the combination of a database, water rights simulation model and GIS
utilities. This provides the user the ability to analyze historic data,
develop and simulate modeling scenarios, and evaluate results.
