Water Resources Management and Modeling
Riverside Technology, inc. (RTi) develops customized, integrated system
solutions for complex issues of water resources management. With a focus
on complete solutions, RTi's water resources management services and
capabilities range from river basin planning; real-time hydrologic modeling
and forecasting; and reservoir, water rights, and irrigation modeling,
optimization, and operations; to the design, development, and implementation of
innovative Decision Support Systems (DSS) for integrated water resources
management. RTi's Decision Support Systems give energy and water supply
organizations a high-technology edge in forecasting and controlling our
most valuable natural resource. RTi provides customized system solutions to
meet each client's specific needs for streamflow forecasting, hydrologic
analyses, and operations management, and continues to invest in research
and development to expand our water resources engineering and science
capabilities.
RTi's system solutions include the use and integration of a variety of
hydrologic models, such as the U.S. National Weather Service (NWS)
forecasting models and systems (NWSRFS), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
(COE) Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC) series models, and the MODSIM
water planning and allocation model. We implement the RTi RiverTrak®
Streamflow Forecasting System for real-time data acquisition, analysis,
hydrologic modeling, and water resources management. The firm also has
specific expertise with the RiverWare® River Basin Modeling System.
RTi's broad technical and water resources management capabilities allow
us to offer specialized, unique approaches to solving complex water
resources problems, to provide customized, integrated system solutions
based on comprehensive and objective needs assessments, and to design
systems for effective communication of critical water resources management
information.
