Riverside Technology, inc. (RTi) provides full Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data services, including ArcIMS (Internet Map Server). ArcIMS is revolutionizing how clients and their customers access GIS data, and providing a capability for more informed decision making. RTi gives clients secure on-line access to high-end GIS and mapping services via the Internet through an ArcIMS mapping interface. Featuring easy to display and interpret, visually appealing, customizable formats, ArcIMS implementations include data display, query, and analysis functions, as well as a real-time integration capability to combine data from additional sources.

RTi has implemented ArcIMS systems to display data for complex Decision Support Systems as a tool to aid in decision making and planning for water rights, well permitting, and conservation issues, as well as a tool for emergency flood management. In one application, RTi combined hydrological forecasting using RTi's RiverTrak® Streamflow Forecasting System with ArcIMS to provide a flood inundation map interface for use as a flood warning system. Based on the observed and forecast conditions, the flood inundation maps were produced in real-time and available for immediate use to provide the information necessary for timely support of agencies in emergency management.
