Riverside remains dedicated to improving Asian countries' flood forecasting and hydrological and hydrometeorological data collection capabilities. For example, Riverside staff have provided key institutional support to Asian Ministries of Water Resources and Agriculture including capacity building, training, developing policy reforms, and institutional restructuring. In addition to implementing projects in the countries of Bangladesh, China, India, Turkey, and Vietnam, the Central Asian countries where Riverside has worked include Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
