Riverside, one of two companies in Region VIII nominated by federal contracting officers, was the recipient of the SBA 2009 Administrator’s Award for Excellence. September 2009 ITX & Riverside team to win $8M contract from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Riverside and ITX were awarded a NOAA contract for complex scientific IT support services to be performed at the NOAA Earth System Research Laboratory (ESRL) in Boulder, Colorado. July 2009 Riverside Awarded Stimulus Funding to Support U.S. Army Corps of Engineers The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC) recently chose Riverside to work on the Corps Water Management System (CWMS) accelerated deployment project. May 2009 Riverside Awarded IDEA Center Contract In May, Riverside Technology was awarded a new three-year, multi-million dollar contract by NOAA/NESDIS to continue supporting the development of the Integrated Data and Environmental Applications (IDEA) Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. The new contract is a follow-on to an existing contract with the NESDIS National Climatic Data Center to develop environmental information products and a facility for meeting environmental information needs of the Pacific Islands community and other interested parties. Riverside is working closely with its partner, the East West Center, in Honolulu addressing the information needs of emergency managers, researchers, educational institutions and the general public at a time when climate change is a very immediate and particularly important issue for island communities. The activities involved in this contract represent a broad and diverse set of projects and service activities across the Pacific Island region dealing with climate adaptation and mitigation, as well as coastal studies related to the vulnerability of islands in the region and associated data management activities. Work includes: providing professional staffing; acquiring and implementating hardware and software; and conducting and tracking workshop deliverables. May 2009 Northern Colorado Business Report Mercury 100 Listing For the fourth year in a row, Riverside has improved its ranking in the NCBR Mercury 100 Fastest Growing Companies with revenues over $2Million. Each year the Northern Colorado Business Report ranks companies in Northern Colorado based on a three year revenue growth - this year the revenue growth was based on the increases between 2005 and 2008.
